FC Salmon Creek Uniform and Equipment Information
General soccer equipment requirements:
- Families will need to provide shin guards, which are mandatory.
- Appropriate footwear should be worn to prevent injury and provide traction.
- No metal cleats are allowed
- Baseball and football cleats are also not acceptable for soccer due to injury concerns
- While coaches will have some soccer balls on hand, players should provide their own soccer ball. Please consult your coach for the appropriate size.
For players in the U5-U8 age division:
- The official uniform consists primarily of a team tee-shirt which is provided by the club.
- There is no additional cost for the shirt, as it is included in the registration fee.
- Shirt sizes should be entered on the registration form to ensure size availability.
- Jerseys will be distributed by coaches.
- Families are responsible for providing shorts and socks. Typically, shorts are blue or black (without pockets) and teams may decide what color socks they would like to wear.
For players U9 and older:
- Families will need to purchase a full uniform kit.
- A full kit includes a home jersey (white), an away jersey (blue), shorts, and socks.
- Uniform orders can be placed through the Tursi Soccer website (linked below).
- Families may choose to have their uniforms mailed to them directly or pick them up at the Tursi store location selected when ordering. (There are 3 locations in Portland.)
- Players are permitted to wear uniforms from previous years, so long as they correspond closely to the current uniform style/colors.
- Players may also choose their own jersey number.
