Purpose: Organize and execute an exceptional tournament experience for the Salmon Creek Nike Cup in Vancouver, WA hosted by FC Salmon Creek.

JOB FUNCTIONS:
Administration
- Oversee complete administrative duties for the Salmon Creek Nike Cup tournament, including, but not limited to:

- Obtain sanctioning for all tournaments
- Create and monitor online registration systems
- Recruit external teams to attend tournament
- Establish, follow, and evaluate tournament budget
- Coordinate with referee assignor to secure and verify referees. Be the point of contact for referee assignor
- Work with staff to procure and allocate fields and facilities
- Assist with the timely collection of fees and recording of payments for all tournaments
- Oversee the placement and organization of the program coaches, including communication, background checks, management, and recruitment as necessary
Marketing
- Utilize the contacts database for teams, coaches, and administrators for building relationships and tournament recruitment
- Assist Marketing Chair with development of marketing materials
- Assist Marketing Chair in the development of event marketing plan and timeline
Communication
- Develop, organize, and communicate effectively in person and through email all information for the tournament including, but not limited to registration information, flighting, recruitment emails, schedules, updates to teams, and all ongoing communication to keep coaches and team informed
- Ensure all information on the website is timely and accurate
Operations
- Organize and execute tournament set up, takedown, and all day-of tournament operation needs
- Create tournament staffing schedule
- Be an on-field presence, creating a positive tournament experience for the fans and participants
Customer Service
Implement superior customer service systems, including email, phone calls, messages and in-person contact with a focus on friendly, fast, and quality communication

- Consistency, Accuracy and Timeliness of Registration Process – Ensuring all registrations are created and accurate by the set due date;
- Retention and Satisfaction – A successful tournament process should result in improved retention and satisfaction of current teams;
- Profitability and Budgeting – Meet or exceed the budget for the Salmon Creek Nike Cup Tournament
Compensation: TBD depending on experience and expertise in meeting criteria laid out above. Bonus available for meeting special markers for tournament success.
